The Optimist Club of Raleigh is now offering sports

Sign up for our Beach Volleyball Summer recreation program or our Summer Fishing Club, but also consider volunteering to help with other sports.
These sports programs are now going to be offered by the Raleigh Optimist Club instead of 540 Express Sports through a new non-profit called Optimist Farm Activities, Inc.  There continue to be many things to do!
In addition to the two beach volleyball courts, a multi-use field is nearing completion.  A third beach volleyball court is in progress!  The Optimist Club has added a second entrance to the property that will help when the property is more heavily used.  For more information about the Optimist Club go to their website.

What's happening now

Immediate volunteers needed are:
Beach Volleyball Coaches
Marketing assistance
Help with the fields: The additional court needs rocks, sand and lot more man power.

• For details about a particular sport you can contact the commissioner for that sport. If a commissioner is not listed on the page for the sport, we likely need a volunteer for that role.
